Dwór Muzeum Marii Konopnickiej w Żarnowcu

Muzeum Marii Konopnickiej w Żarnowcu to miejsce poświęcone życiu i twórczości pisarki Marii Konopnickiej. Założone w 1957 roku, muzeum obejmuje zabytkowy dworek z XVIII wieku, park o powierzchni ponad 3 hektarów i lamus. Dworek był prezentem dla Konopnickiej z okazji jubileuszu 25-lecia jej pracy pisarskiej.

Maria Konopnicka zamieszkała w Żarnowcu w 1903 roku i spędzała tam wiosenno-letnie miesiące. W dworku prowadziła szeroką działalność społeczną i pisarską. Po wojnie dworek został przekazany narodowi polskiemu i stał się muzeum biograficznym.

Otwarcie ekspozycji muzealnych miało miejsce w 1960 roku. Muzeum obejmuje także lamus, w którym znajduje się część ekspozycji. To miejsce stanowi ważny punkt związany z historią Marii Konopnickiej i jej rodziny, a także świadectwo ich zaangażowania w okresie okupacji.
